I've been playing flute and saxophone for years... and I love it! The reaction I get from people when they hear a tune they know and enjoy is a thrill every time I play. What could be better than to make folk smile or think about special times in their lives?
I was classically trained but diversified later on to modern and experimental jazz and improvised melodies, fronting several bands and performing to diverse audiences in clubs, restaurants and festivals, for parties and ceremonies. I can adapt to various playing styles and am willing to learn particular pieces on request.
I am focusing on teaching my skills and experience right now so if you would like lessons on the saxophone or the flute then send me a message and we can get a date sorted on Zoom. I charge £18 for 30 mins and £35 for 60 mins. I have a full DBS check done though the Musicians Union and teach.
I am also available to play parties, weddings, civil partnerships, family gatherings, celebrations, special occasions, corporate events and shows.
The arrangements for the day, style of music, set list (particularly if a special tune is requested) and so on are all open to negotiation. For this reason, it is best to contact me first with a brief email explaining what you require and I will come back to you with a quotation. We can take it from there.
